Software Test Automation Engineer

(Morrisville, NC and various unanticipated worksites throughout the US) MULTIPLE OPENINGS – Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites using packet processing and routing. Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies, such as C, C++, Linux, Python, and Bash Scripting. Test software development methodology. Debug complex problems. Provide on-going maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. Assist in defining architectural and design standards to be implemented across all automation development teams. Collaborate cross—functionally analysts, business users, and other engineers to create high-level functional and technical designs for the Automation effort. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in the industry-test-driven development.

Require:

Bachelor or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related technical field, plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related IT engineering positions. Must have experience and/or coursework in C, C++, Linux, Python and Bash Scripting. In the alternate, will accept a Master’s (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field. Must have experience and/or coursework in C, C++, Linux, Python and Bash Scripting.

Travel required to various unanticipated worksites throughout the US.
